The Wilmington International Airport (ILM) Public Safety Department is a full service law enforcement agency responsible for all law enforcement and security responsiblities at Wilmington International Airport. It's primary mission is to ensure a safe and secure environment for the traveling public. The Airport Public Safety Department is responsible for Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF), public relations, traffic control, criminal investigations, airport community oriented policing, airport security, and enforcement of local, state and federal laws at the airport.
