Save the Date: AirPower History Tour

The National Air Tour of Historic WWII Aircraft is coming to ILM! Experience the sights, smells and sounds of historic WWII aircraft. The event features FIFI, the world’s most famous flying B-29 Superfortress and the planes, pilots, and crews of the Commemorative Air Force. In addition to the B-29 Superfortress FIFI, a T-6 Texan (Navy SNJ) will also be at the event.
Attendees of the event will be able to get up close and touch the airplanes, tour the cockpit (when the aircraft is available), talk to the crews, and watch the planes fly.

Friday, June 16, 9a-5p
* Aircraft tours available starting at 9a
* Supporting aircraft available for rides all day (additional cost)
Saturday, June 17, 9a-5p
* B-29 flies at 9a and 10:30a
* Aircraft tours available after 12p
* Supporting aircraft available for rides all day (additional cost)
Sunday, June 18, 9a-5p
* B-29 flies at 9a and 10:30a
* Aircraft tours available after 12:00p
* Supporting aircraft available for rides all day (additional cost)
Event Location: Air Wilmington, 1999 Hall Drive
Cost: $10 for Adults, $5 for children 11-17, and free for children under 10.
