ILM's Security Checkpoint Renovation
From April 17 to May 31, 2012, ILM customers should plan their drive to the airport to allow for additional time to clear the TSA Security Checkpoint. It is recommended that customers arrive at least two hours before their flight is scheduled to depart. Construction around the Checkpoint area reduces the number of lanes and may increase wait times. Upon completion, the renovation project will increase the size of the Checkpoint area, add new equipment, and expand food service options beyond security. Attention LGA Frequent Flyers!
Concerning the recent slot swap between US Airways and Delta Air Lines, there will be NO GAP in ILM's non-stop LGA service. US Airways will discontinue service on July 10, 2012, and Delta Air Lines* will begin flying to LGA on July 11. Please check both airlines' web sites.
